You name the type of music style or project, and Jim has more than likely sung or done it, everything from playing Manhattan venues in rock bands and acts of all sorts to developing and singing in full-fledged musicals, to singing in acoustic trios in Texas, to singing commercials, etc. Altogether, Jim Stevens and “BeDo” provide a clean, crisp, thought-provoking musical take on our times. Pop it in, turn it up, and enjoy life a little, or maybe even a LOT, more! We were glad to Chill with Jim Stevens for June, now go check him out, and get your global chill on!
not quite sure why these two delightful diva’s switched from opera to acoustic, but WE’RE GLAD THEY DID! Karen & Amy Jones were both trained in the classical way, until rock and roll called their name. With guitar riffs and harmonies being compared to Ann & Nancy Wilson….we’re sure you’re going to love them as much as we do here at the Diner. Please help us welcome The Sisters Jones as our Featured Dish Of The Month.
Still in its infancy, the Cool Vibes Radio Program was born of a need to fill the void left by existing terrestrial radio. The two-hour show provides a convenient weekly dose of first-class acoustic rock. I guarantee every program to be overflowing with live and rare acoustic performances, artist interviews, special in-studio guests and more random music knowledge than you can handle.
The show’s content spans approximately 5 decades, with recent selections including everything and anything acoustic from Asia, Eva Cassidy and bluegrass-styled Van Halen, to The Killers, The Weepies, and Plain White T’s. This program is full of rare gems that many self-proclaimed acoustic lovers probably knew ever existed, all wrapped up in a musically delicious two-hour package.
Dylan Michaels is originally from the “Town that Rocked the Nation”, Philadelphia, PA, although his radio career has allowed him to see numerous parts of the country throughout his 15-year tenure. He’s back home today in suburban Philadelphia, doing what he loves best – sharing the music.
