Originally aired on June 30th, 2008. At the beginning of June, we trekked out to The Katmandu Acoustic Showcase in Trenton, NJ to speak with some of the front line players in the music business. Our task, to find out their take on the music industry as it was, and as it has become. We also get their take on American Idol….Savior or Judas of the music business.

Today’s show in addition to being a hefty 3 hours, will also feature ALL independent music from start to finish. This is the show you want to tell your friends about.

Podcast Summary

Still in its infancy, the Cool Vibes Radio Program was born of a need to fill the void left by existing terrestrial radio. The two-hour show provides a convenient weekly dose of first-class acoustic rock. I guarantee every program to be overflowing with live and rare acoustic performances, artist interviews, special in-studio guests and more random music knowledge than you can handle.

The show’s content spans approximately 5 decades, with recent selections including everything and anything acoustic from Asia, Eva Cassidy and bluegrass-styled Van Halen, to The Killers, The Weepies, and Plain White T’s. This program is full of rare gems that many self-proclaimed acoustic lovers probably knew ever existed, all wrapped up in a musically delicious two-hour package.
